Me - now a 16 month old kid !!!

HI guys , how are you all ? Me doing very fine and am bery busy in learning new things. ok now i have only few minutes and i am here to tell you all what all i have learnt all these days :

Now I knew some fruits namely : Apple ,orange , grapes , lemon , peach , pears , stawberry , banana , Watermelon ,
Some animals namely - Dog , Cow , Cat , Deer , rhino , hippo, elephant , lion, tiger, horse , zebra , crocodile Monkey , camel ,Dinosaur
Some veges namely - Carrot , corn, tomato onion , potato , Capsicum ,Brinjal , Brocolli , cabbage , garlic.
and numbers 1-5 !!!
Here are some of the words i can speak now :

amma , appa , anna , akka , poo , thaatha , va va va , tha , tree , three , inna , mama , paapa , mum-mum (food), tata

I can also make some animal sounds like : wow-woow , meow , moo , baa-baa , roar of lion ;

Now that i am a big kid , I can follow what my parents say and I am trying to have my food by myself but still cant succeed in it . Hopefully i shall succeed in that too !!!

LEARNING PHASE

Hey guys , here i am again . I am now in the learning phase , yeah i am more attracted towards book nowadays !!! I now knew all by body parts , i will touch them if you name them . I knew some opposites too , i will do actions accordingly if you tell them !! I knew numbers from 1 to 5 and can take and give them correctly if you name them . I can even arrange them in order in a magnetic board . I am learning the names of fruits and vegetables . I am having a fruits&vege basket and i knew more than half of them . I will pick them up correctly if you call out their name !!!

Trying to say sentences : Ya i am now a big girl and i am trying to talk in sentences !! I am trying to imitate my mom and dad . ok guys its bed time for me , will meet u soon with more updates ,take care , bye bye !!!!!!!!!!!

POTTY TRAINING

Hi guys ,
Am back again !!! was little bit busy with my potty training huhhhhhhhhhhhh hard to learn these stuffs man . anyways I am now fully potty trained , but still my mom wears me diapers when we go out and when I go to bed in the night . May be she thinks I have to grow more . Yesterday my parents got me a new potty and I was very happy to use my own personal potty . ok guys will meet you all soon again , bye for now , Cheers!!!

Njoid weekend in SIX FLAGS..

I was wondering when my parents took me to the six flags this weekend . I could not guess what I can do in the theme park whil these two people will go on fun rides . To my surprise there where nearly 15 rides for the babies... WOWwwwwwwwwww.. My parents were so caring that one went to the adult rides when the other took me to the infant rides . I njoid it a lot . I thought these small rides may be boring to them , but they said that they took this as an oppurtunity to ride these things again after many years . My father went for many roller coasters , he is really brave . But my mom spent her time with me , and we two had fun . I think whe might be afraid of those big rides ( lol )........

CLIMBING UP THE STEPS

Hey friends , I was actually afraid of climbing up the stairs . But yesterday after bidding bye to my father , I was playing for sometime infront of the doors . At that time I went near the stairs and wanted to climb the stairs . My mom was standing beside me , so I was brave enough that I will not be hurted . I made up my mind and stepped up the first step . WOOooow , I was very happy . I also stepped up two more steps . I was very happy and this deed gave me a great confidence . But I did not climb up anymoe . I holded my mom's hand and came down . Great deed na....

Walking Phase

Hi Guys , I have now started to walk ....................Since May 13th 8.45 p.m I am able to walk from one room to another without holding ( hurray!!!!) . Wanted to share this glad news to you all . I am now pracitsing walking all the time and trying to balance myself....Hope will suceed in this mission soon and will give my amma a hard time to run after me..Hehehe..

AMMA PONNU

Today morning I was playing with my Mom and Dad . My mom Patted my dad and asked me to do so . My Dad too patted my mom and asked me to do so . When I saw my Daddy patting me mom , I cant take it . I started patting my dad and stopped my dad from patting my Mom . On seeing that my mom gave me a great hug and My Dad said
" amma ponnu , amma ponnu "

KEPT A STEP

Hi all , here I am to share my happiness with you all .Yesterday (April 17 th ) in the late evening , I was playing with my Parents . I was standing by holding my mom and wished to move to the sofa which is a step ahead . Courageously , I took my hands from my mom's shoulder and kep a step wihout holding anything and then got hold of the sofa...WOW !! cried my Mom . " My DD kept her first step " She told with full of joy....Oh yeah, This is a great day for us .

A CALL TO 911

Yeah folks , On april 10th , I called to 911 by mistake . Actually I was trying to grab the phone from my dads hand . But unfortunately it called to 911 . My Dad was very much shocked . He atonce ended the call . But the people from that office called us again and enquired about the call . Without knowing that they were calling I started to cry for the phone . The people heard my voice and had enquired "why the baby is crying ? " My dad convinced them by telling the reason . My mom who went to bed came back and gave me some pats on my back and put me to sleep ..

STEPPING INTO THE 10th MONTH

I entered into my 10th month this april , 10th . In this month , I started to do many new activities to show my parents that I am a big girl ....
* I started to have carrots , Grapes , banana and my dinner ( dosai , idli ) too by myself.
* I started to have bath by standing and I am taking my towel to the bathroom by myself .
* I started to show my parents that I am done by showing my hand as the stop sign .
* I can now imitate the actions that my parents do.

And a lot more to come in a few more days....

BABY'S FIRST DAY-OUT

Hey , the spring has started !!!!!!!!!!. I went for a walk with my mom yesterday . I took my walker and went along with my mom for a walk . I was very much happy to see the places covered with grass , Some brothers and sisters playing with their balls , Some dogs walking silently with their masters , etc . We walked for nearly 30 mins . Then I felt sleepy and we cam e back to our house . I am really happy that now on I shall go out happily . Atlast the winter came to an end ,....

HARDWARE NOT RECOGNISED !!!

Hi folks , Here I am to share a small fun incident that happened yesterday . Me and my mom were playing in evening . I saw a wire hanging down from the speaker . U know , I am very fond of wires. So I took it and started tasting its end . In its end there was a small stainless steel projection and that was good to taste . After a minute my mom seemed to be frustrated . She was doing something seriously in the computer and suddenly she pulled the wire from my mouth and disconnected it from the computer and patted on my back telling ' u naughty ' .
You know wat happened ? The wire that I was tasting was a USB cable and when I started tasting the stainless steel part the computer was giving a warning message ' HARDWARE NOT RECOGNISED ' ( hehehehehe ) .

My 9th month Achievements

Hey friends , I am going to turn 10 months on april 10th . So here I am to tell you about my acheivements in 9th month .

* I started to walk holding chairs and walkers .
* I learned to balance myself while standing .
* I started telling " naana , nanna " more frequently .
* I stared eating some fruits , biscuits , carrots, butter by myself .
* I learnt to climb on the sofa and get down by myself .
* I play ball with my dad.
* I walk to the front door with the walker to say bye to my dad when he starts to his office.
* I started to have my lunch as rice , dhall , and vegetables .

Usualy my Mom says" You have become more naughtier" ......( LOL )

A GREAT FALL

Hi Dear Ones , Here I am to share one of my bad experience with you . This Sunday (march 30 th ) I was sitting in the carseat which was fixed on the stroller . My Parents were having their lunch . I was jumping on the car seat . As it was in a notable height , my parents were warning me to be careful and asking me to sitdown . But u know me....I am a naughty girl . I wanted to know what will happen if I am standing and jumping. I jumped , It was a great feeling . I jumped again . Nothing happened . I thought my parents were crazy and they are warning me unneccessarily. I jumped again . Unfortunately the stroller lost the balance , I fell down . OOOOOOOOpsssssssssss. What a great hit . My head pained like anything . I cried aloud . Poor parents , They took me in their hand and tried to console me . I felt very sorry for not obeying their words. Sorry Mom , Sorry Dad.

POOJA

Hey friends , here I am to tell you about my Interest in Pooja . From yesterday I have started to help my parents in doing pooja . Ya I am ringing the bell while my father is doing naeivedhyam . I feel proud that I am taking part in the pooja . After neivedhyam he will give me prasadam (hehehe ) , a raisin .

I LOVE MY MOM

Today evening i was playing with my Mom . As usual I took off her glass and she started to cry ( just for fun ) . I don't know that she was just kidding . I was unable to see my Mom crying . I felt very sorry for making her cry . I too started crying . At that moment she stopped her deed and tried to console me and again started to play with me . You know I love My MOM more than anything in this world and wanted to see her smiling always.

Got a Good Company!!!!

Yeah folks , I have got a good company to play ....YAHOOO!!!! My aunt have delivered a boy baby on march 20th . You know i was very tensed on the day of her delivery . Even though i am very far away from her , I was very nervous . I was roaming all around the house in tension that my brother should be born without any difficulty . I was not able to eat well and i was unable to sleep through the night . GOD gave all the strength to my brother that he came into this world without much difficulty .

Passion for Raisin

My Parents used to do neivedhyam using Raisins. They used to keep a raisin in my mouth for a sec every day right from my birth . I used to taste it daily and i love it very much . As i have got 2 teeth , nowadays i started to bite the raisin . I Love it very much . Today i went near the Pooja place. I saw the raisin box is not completely closed . My mom went for a short walk in the verandah and my dad was doing his maadhyanikam. I took a handful of raisins and put them in my mouth in a fraction of second . My dad was unable to stop me and he tried to take them out of my mouth . My Mom came in at that moment . She took me in her hands and took all of them out of my mouth . I got some scoldings from my mom for my mischeivious deed .

Me in my Mom's Womb...................

ME IN MY MOM'S WOMB
It was on October 6 th 2006 (Friday) My parents came to know that i'm in my mother's Womb , at that time i was 30 days old . My mom said that her doctor confirmed my presence in the morning and then in the afternoon she had a scan .After the scan at 4.00 p.m my parents told this great news to both of my grand parents . All of them were very happy to hear this sweet news . I was growing comfortably in my My Mom's Womb .
My mom had severe vomiting in the early period of her pregnancy . I was a very silent baby until i was 3 months old . In the 4th month i started to kick very fastly so that my Parents could realize that . I could hear my Mom saying to my Dad " Hey Dear , See our Baby has started kicking ".I could realize her happiness when she felt my kicking for the first time and the happiness never changed until my birth . She enjoyed all my movements from that point of time until my birth .
Considering the entire 10 months in which i was in my Mom's womb , It was the 4th month that was Remarkable for me . Yeah , I was able to hear the outside noises. I was able to hear my Mom's voice distinctively . She was talking to me all the time . She helped me to identify my Dad's voice . I was very happy to hear my Mom speaking to me all the time ....She used to put many slokas like Lalitha Sahasranamam, Rudram , Vishnu Sahasranamam , Bhagavad Gita , etc and will advice me to hear all those things .
Among all of them I loved Lalitha Sahasranamam , and I let my Mom know that I Liked it by my movements . My Mom too Understood my thought (HOW SWEET!!) and she used to put that particular sloka most of the time . By that deed I was very familiar with Lalitha Sahasranamam. My Mom and Dad used to recite Lalitha Sahasranamam every evening and If they spell any word incorrectly by mistake I used to correct them by my movements . I Love to hear my Mom teaching my Dad Sanskrit , My Dad teaching My mom Some Programming Language and the discussion they do daily on a Bhagavad Gita Sloka .
My mom always used to keep her hand on her belly so that i was able to feel her and to me it was as though she was touching me . I was able to feel her unlimited love towards me by her touch .It was very helpful for me to express my likes and dislikes through my movements which she easily felt through her hands on me (on her belly ) .She used to eat what i like and she used to avoid the foods which i dislike...For example: My mom used to eat sweets just for the reason that i like them and she avoided spicy foods as i disliked them .
My Dad was very kind to my mom at those days and he used to talk to me during the night time . I used to reply him by my movements . My maternal grand parents came to US on APRIL 4th , for my mom's BABY SHOWER , on 5 th APRIL . We also had Mathangi aunty and RK uncle in our house for that function . I love them very mch . Mathangi aunty used to speak to my mom daily and she used to ask about my daily activities with love and care .
On the day of BABY SHOWER , I heard all the mantras and accepted all the rituals done for my sake. My mom was very happy to have her parents with her in that auspicious time. My grand pa returned back to India within 15 days . After that my mom and my grandma used to go for walking every evening . One day when they are returning from their walk , they saw a dog which barked at them for a while . My mom was very much afraid . When she went few steps away from the dog, it started running towards her asthough it is going to bite her . She started screaming and i was shocked to hear her scream . Then by God's Grace , tha dog's owner stopped the dog and called it back .
My mom used to have back pain , But inspite of the pain she used to go for a walk for a mile or so. And she used to suffer all throughout the night in pain . My Dad used to massage her back to make her relieved from pain . Unfortunately when he massages my mom , i will be pushed forward and i will feel uncomfortable . When my mom realised that i was feeling uncomfortable she stopped my dad from massaging her and just for my sake she bore all the pain. Thanks Mom!!.
It was spring season , she loved to walk through the streets and she used to tell me what all the objects she is seeing in the road . I think it was in the 9th month of her pregnancy , she took my grandma to the River walk , which is nearly 2 miles away from our home . My grandma was exhausted by that walk and she used to tell this to me even after i was born " It is because of you i walked that much long distance with your mother " .Sorry Grandma for the trouble .
And the week befor i was born , My Dad took my mom and my grand ma to a lake ( So called beach) . We went along with Alwyn uncle . It was a nice drive .
And after a long stay in my mom's womb i was ready to come out on June 9th.
